American writer who was born on October 18, 1961 in New York, USA. He is known for The Ice Storm (1997), and Personal Effects (2009). He obtained a BA from Brown University in 1983. He was a freelance editor and has been a teacher of fiction and composition at Riverside Writers Group and Bennington College since 1991. He won the 1991 Pushcart Press Editor's Book Award for "Garden State". He is the brother of screenwriter Dwight Moody.
