She is an American actress and producer, born in Los Angeles, California on October 3, 1983. Her father is singer-songwriter Marc Anthony Thompson. She studied cultural anthropology at Santa Monica College. In 2002, she started acting through the Los Angeles Women's Shakespeare Company and starred in the plays The Tempest, and Romeo and Juliet. She made her film debut in When a Stranger Calls (2006). She's known for Creed (2015), Thor: Ragnarok (2017) and Annihilation (2018).
