An American producer, director, and writer, born on August 8, 1963 in New York. He graduated from the University of Southern California School of Cinematic Arts in 1988. He began his writing and directing career in 1989 with the movie Think Big. His work includes Cool Runnings (1993), While You Were Sleeping (1995), Phenomenon (1996), and National Treasure (2004).
