A Kuwaiti writer and novelist, born as Mona Gaber Al Shammari in Kuwait. She studied at Kuwait University, worked in several Kuwaiti newspapers, and held the position of deputy editor-in-chief of Al Mustagbal newspaper. She is a member of the Kuwaiti Journalists Association and a member of the Kuwaiti Writers Association. She has written a number of novels Including "Rain Falls, the Princess Dies," which was adapted into the series Black Eyeliner White Heart (2017). In 2019, she wrote two series that were shown in Ramadan, which are Faraway Wishes and No Music at Al-Ahmadi.
