Egyptian director who studied film in New York. He began his career in 1997 by directing short films, including Greta and The Story of Love and Hate. He worked as an AD on the film The Magician (2001). He directed the short film Rounded Square (2002), starring Bassem Samra, and the short The Scream (2010). He also directed the documentary A Bride from Nubia.
