An American director and author, born in Syracuse, on February 17, 1962. He graduated from Northland High School in Columbus, Ohio. He also graduated from the School of Visual Arts in New York City in 1987. Bayer received the Kodak Lifetime Achievement Award in 2005. He was honored by the Music Video Producers Association with a Lifetime Achievement Award for the second time in 2006. Among his most famous works: Alpha Dog in 2006, the music video for Justin Timberlake: What Goes Around ... Comes Around in 2007, and A Nightmare on Elm Street in 2010.
