Jake Gyllenhall’s father is the director Steven Gyllenhall. His mother, (Funir) is a producer and (screenwriter). His sister is the actress Maggie Gyllenhall. Jake Gyllenhall’s first acting experience occurred at the age of eleven where he acted in the 1991 film (“City Slickers”). Thereafter, Jake would assume roles in several (television and cinematic productions). However his work (in theater) has given him more experience and (exposure) especially since he has performed on Broadway.


An American actor. His father is director Stephen Gyllenhaal, his mother is producer and screenwriter Naomi Foner, and his sister is actress Maggie Gyllenhaal. He made his debut as a child in the 1991 movie City Slickers, then he went on to play many roles in television series and film, yet working in the theater made him grow as an actor, especially since he presented his first show on Broadway. He is best known for his films Source Code (2011), Nightcrawler (2014), and Spider-Man: Far From Home (2019)
