An Egyptian singer, born in Alexandria on October 24, 1925. He was famous for performing the song "Ya Mustafa", composed by Mohamed Fawzy, which he sang in the movie This Is Love (1961). He also participated in the movie The Magic Lantern (1960). He immigrated to Switzerland in the sixties, where he bought a nightclub in Geneva. He died in Monaco on July 24, 2004.
