He was a Jordanian writer, born in the village of Abu Taraba, near Karak in 1957. He got a BA in Arabic language and literature from the University of Jordan in 1985. He was chief editor of the Quaf Newspaper and a daily column writer for many Jordanian newspapers such as The People, The Constitution, and The Arabs Today. He was a member of the Administrative Board of the Jordanian Writers Association. He received the Jordanian Writers Association Award in the field of short stories in 1986. He passed away after a long battle with cancer in October 13, 2008 at the age of 51.
