Jonas Akerlund is a Swedish film and music video director. He was born on the 10th of November, 1965. Jonas’ work first came to public attention when he was attached to Roxette, a Swedish pop music duo. After his widely acclaimed video for Madonna’s “Ray of Light” he has worked for several well known bands such as Blink-182, U2, Metallica and others. Throughout his career, Jonas has collaborated extensively with Madonna.
