An Egyptian writer born in Mit Selsil, Dakahliya. He received a BA in Agricultural Economics and pursued his postgraduate studies at the Higher Institute of Theatrical Arts. He held several positions in the Ministry of Culture. His work includes the series Hamada and Uncle Shafik.
