Egyptian director, born in Cairo. He obtained a bachelor’s degree from the Department of Arts and Criticism, Higher Institute of Theatrical Arts, Academy of Arts, and a postgraduate diploma from the Higher Institute of Art Criticism, Academy of Arts. He obtained also a doctorate from the University of Berlin. He is known for the film Teenage Love and the TV special Fear.
