An American director, screenwriter and producer, born on August 29, 1939 in New York. He began his career in the fashion design field with several movies, including Play It As It Lays (1972). He made his directorial and writing debut in 1974 with the movie Virginia Hill. He had an experience in the field of interior design in the movie Killer Bees (1974). He is famous for Falling Down, Batman & Robin, 8MM, and The Phantom of the Opera. He passed away on June 22, 2020 in New York, USA.
