An Egyptian director who graduated from the Higher Institute of Cinema and worked as an assistant director with Sherif Arafa in the films Abboud on the Border and The Principle. He then became the first assistant director for Sherif Arafa in the films Mafia and The Island. He made his feature directorial debut with The Replacement (2009), followed by The Party (2013).
