Robert Lindsay is a British actor, born in 1949 in Derbyshire, England. He studied art and acting at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts. He first worked as Terry in the 1973 movie That'll Be the Day. He married British actress Sherry Hall in 1974, before separating in 1980, then remarried actress Rosemary Ford. Lindsay is famous for many television works such as My Family, and Get Some In!, as well as Wimbledon, and Fierce Creatures.
