A Saudi writer and director, born in 1947. He studied philosophy and cinema in London, and directed a number of short documentaries. His first film was, "The Assassination of a City" in 1977, which participated in a film festival in Cairo at the time. He returned with a single film in the nineties, the documentary "Shock", in which he presented his vision of the Gulf War. After 13-years, he returned with "Shadows of Silence". He also co-wrote the sitcom Comedo in 2009.
