Egyptian actor and producer, who began his artistic career in the mid-fifties. He worked in theater, cinema, and television. He played supporting roles, such as the role of director, judge, senior official, and businessman. He is known for Class Distinctions (1954), Adam Returns to Heaven (1982), and You're Free (1981). He worked as the director of the Rihani Theater. He was the father of actor Mohamed Sobhi.
