An American actor, writer, director and producer who was born on December 7, 1972 in Baltimore, Maryland. He graduated from the Northwestern University and the Improv Olympic Theater. He began his career as an actor and photographer before directing the short film, The Adventures of Big Handsome Guy and His Little Friend (2005). He won the Directors Guild of America Award for the pilot episode of Modern Family (2009). He's known for Arthur (2011), Ode to Joy (2019), and Single Parents (2018-2020).
