John Rhys-Davies is an actor, producer and screenwriter, born May 5, 1944. He studied at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art and began his artistic career in 1965 through the series Crossroads. He is best known for performing historical roles, in addition to his participation in the series The Lord of the Rings, and Indiana Jones. He won the Best Actor Award at the Erie Horror Film Festival in 2018 for the movie Aux.
