A British actor, born February 21, 1946 in Hammersmith. He has an Irish and Welsh ancestry. He got a scholarship to study at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art and there he studied for 3 years. He is best known for his portrayal of Professor Snape in the Harry Potter film series. He passed away on January 14, 2016 in London.
