An American producer and author, born in Cedar City, Utah. David graduated from Southern Utah University with a BA in Theater. He also holds a master's degree in fine arts from the University of Utah, and a master's degree in theater at Penn State University. David is married to Bonnie Howard, and has a child. His most famous films include: Galaxy Quest in 1999, The Hustle in 2000, Sea of Dreams in 2006, and The Three Investigators and the Secret of Skeleton Island in 2007.
