He graduated from the Belgrad Film Academy in 1990, and he was forced to leave Yugoslavia during the civil war and move to Germany, where he...Read more studied acting and film editing, and stayed until 2003, working as a news reporter for several satellite channels. He then returned to Lebanon, and launched his music video career, directing tens of extremely popular music videos for famous Lebanese and Arab singers like Kazem El Saher, Elissa, Wael Kafoury and Nawal El Zoghby. Marouk's feature film debut was “365 Youm Sa'ada” (365 Days of Happiness).

• A Lebanese video clip director, was chosen by Michael Bay to be one of the Cairo group directors in the film “Transformers 2”.
