Egyptian writer, born in Damanhur. He obtained a BA from Cairo University. He started his career as a journalist and worked as a correspondent in some European capitals. He later became a managing editor at the Middle East News Agency and an advisor at the Ministry of National Guidance. He died on December 7, 1984.
