An Iraqi actor, born in Najaf. After completing his primary studies, he moved to Baghdad. He made his film debut in Al-Qadisiyya. His uncle Mahdi Abdel Saheb helped him enter radio and television, and he worked at the beginning with Radio Baghdad, then moved to Radio Voice of the Masses, working as a program presenter, as well as an actor and director in the cultural department and the development department. During his work on the radio in 1984, he began to work in the theater, and his debut was in Chekhov's The Quarrelsome Boy, directed by Essam Mohamed. His credits include An Iraqi Wedding, Motawie and Bahiya, and Abu Tubar. He won many awards, including the Best Iraqi Actor Award in 1994 for the play The Collapse of a Fourth Wall.
