An Iraqi actor and director, who joined the Modern Theater Company in 1958. His theatrical works include the play Uncle Vanya (1962), which was the first long play by Chekhov to be presented in the Arab theater. In addition to his work as a director, Taha also acted in many theatrical, cinematic, and television works, most notably the play I Am Your Mother, Shaker and the movie Saeed Effendi. He passed away in 2003.
