Turkish actress, author, ballerina, beauty queen and singer of Turkish-Circassian and Macedonian origin. She was born on December 27, 1939 in Istanbul, to a Circassian mother and a Macedonian Turkish father from Istanbul. Before pursuing a career in acting, she joined the American Academy of Girls. In 1957, she was crowned Miss Cinema Star. She won second place in the Miss Turkey contest and also took first place in the Miss Beach Beauty contest. She took acting lessons at the Turkish State Theater in Ankara. Between 1957 and 1976, she acted in 170 films. She died on July 22, 2016, in Istanbul.
