Biography
An Iranian director, born in Maragheh, Iran. He began his film activity as an assistant director in the film The Triple Bed (1972), and in 1985 he directed his first film, The Man Who Knew Too Much (1985). He is known for Savalan (1989), The Station (1987), Haft-seen (2013),...Read more and Flying Passion (2012-2013). During his artistic career, he held many managerial positions in the television and cinema sectors. From 1998 until 2001, he served as General Director of the ran Cinema Directors Center, and he also assumed the presidency of the Directors Guild of Iran. He died on September 25, 2018, in Shiraz, Iran.
