Christopher Robert "Chris" Evans is an American actor. Evans began in television, through the series Opposite Sex in 2000. He then starred in the film Not Another Teen Movie in 2001. Evans is best known for his superhero roles as Johnny Storm / Human Torch in Fantastic Four (2005) and Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007), and as Steve Rogers / Captain America in Captain America: The First Avenger (2011) and Marvel's The Avengers (2012). He continued his role Captain America in the sequels Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014) and Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015).
