She was born on August 14, 1966 in Cleveland, Ohio, USA to an African father. Her parents had a divorce when she was four. She became a model and started her acting career with her first weekly TV series Living Dolls (1989). She attended the University of Cleveland, Ohio. Halle Berry is the first African American actress to win an Oscar for Best Actress. Her films include: X-Men: Days of Future Past (2014), John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum movie (2019), Kingsman: The Golden Circle (2017) and Cloud Atlas (2012).
