Marc Forster is a German filmmaker and screenwriter. He was born in Germany but grew up in Switzerland. Forster attended Institut Montana Zugerberg in Switzerland, and then joined New York University from 1990 to 1993, where he made documentary films. After studying there, he moved to Los Angeles in 1995, and then to Hollywood to keep up with the artistic field. He is famous for his roles in Monster's Ball, Finding Neverland, The Kite Runner, and World War Z.
