He was an American editor, director, and producer who was born in New York on March 31, 1961. He holds an MA of Fine Arts from the University of Texas at Austin. He debuted his career in 1986 with the short film, Punk. He is known for Charlotte's Web (2006), The Tic Code (1998), and Letters to Juliet (2010). He died on February 27, 2011 of complications from brain cancer.
