An American actress born on June 15, 1964 in Birmingham, Alabama. She was a cheerleader, tennis player and swimmer while attending Mountain Brook High School. She studied architecture and interior design at Mount Vernon College, but dropped out to a pursue a modeling career in New York. She's best known as Monica in the hit sitcom Friends (1994-2004), and as Gale Weathers in the horror film franchise Scream. Her other credits include 3000 Miles to Graceland (2001), and Cougar Town (2009-2015).
