A Canadian actress of Serbian origin, she was born on April 26, 1978 in Hamilton. Her father is Serbian and a Croatian mother, who immigrated from Yugoslavia to Canada.She is the eldest daughter in a family consisting of four brothers and one sister. She later moved with her family to Aurora, Illinois, United States, and spent the following years back and forth between Canada and the United States. She attended Western Oruro High School, graduating in 1996, and then studied Dramatic Arts in Chicago at Goodman School of Drama. Her first role was granted by a friend in an independent film he was producing. In 2008 she founded her own production company Sin Timur Productions. In 2010, she starred in the movie For Lovers Only, as well as the voice of the character Talia Al Ghul in the video game Batman: Arkham City. She is best known for her role as Detective Kate Bucket in the Castle series, where she co-starred with Nathan Fillion. She worked in: Absentia (2017), The Librarian III: The Curse of the Judas Chalice (2008) and Pit Fighter (2005).
