American actor and producer of Puerto Rican descent. Born as Jon William Scott Hofstedt on October 23, 1969 in New York City. He was a US Air Force officer in 1987 and served for 8 years as an aircraft nuclear/conventional weapons specialist involved in the US invasion of Panama and Operation Desert Storm. He's known for Castle (2009), Generation Kill (2008), Imprisoned (2018), and This Is Us (2016).
