An American actress, born in Abilene, Texas. She graduated from the University of Evansville in Indiana, where she obtained a BA in theater. She also pursued graduate studies in art at the New York University Tisch School of the Arts. Her credits include The Talented Mr. Ripley (1999), 13 Conversations About One Thing (2001), and The Wire (2002-2008). She also received nominations for the Helen Hayes Award, which is a theater award given for excellence in professional theater in Washington, D.C.
