He is an American actor who was born in Farmville, Virginia, in 1975. He obtained a BA in Criminal Justice. After he landed several roles in independent films, his breakthrough role was in HBO's The Wire (2003). His other credits include Deepwater Horizon (2016), The Blacklist (2019), and The Resident (2020).
