An American writer and producer, born on November 19, 1958 in New York. He began his career by writing some episodes for television series such as Get a Life (1991). He won an Oscar for Best Original Screenplay for the movie Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind in 2005. His most notable movies include Synecdoche, New York (2008), Anomalisa (2015), and I'm Thinking of Ending Things (2020).
