A Canadian screenwriter and director, born in Montreal, Canada. He began his film career in the 1960s on the staff of the National Film Board of Canada (NFB) as a television director. Some of his credits include Empire, Inc. (1983), Whispers (1990) and Maid of Honor (2006).
