Betty White is an American TV persona who has assumed varied roles throughout her career including roles as a game show host, she is also a published author. White was born on the 17th of January, 1922 in Oak Park, Illinois. Betty White is perhaps best known for her roles on the sitcoms “The Mary Tyler Moore Show” and “The Golden Girls” alongside her regular appearances on shows such as “The Bold and the Beautiful” and “Boston Legal” among others. More recently Betty White has starred in the new sitcom “Hot in Cleveland”. Throughout her long career White has received 20 Emmy nominations, winning seven.
