Paul Bettany was born on May 27, 1971 in London to a theater family. His father is the star Thane Bettany, and his mother is the actress Anne Kettle. His grandmother, Olga Gwynne, was a well-known and successful actress, and his grandfather is the musician Lesley Kettle. He has been in the public eye since he appeared in the English film (A Knight’s Tale) in 2000. Afterwards he appeared in several famous films including: (A Beautiful Mind) in 2001, (The Da Vinci Code) in 2006, and (Iron Man) in 2008, 2010 and 2013.
