A Lebanese journalist, novelist, and writer, who studied at Saint Elias Monastery School, then at Saint Joseph University in Beirut. After graduating from university, he worked in journalism and wrote for many Lebanese newspapers and magazines. He was one of the controversial figures of his time, but his ideas had a great influence on the Arab Enlightenment movement. He's known for Salah al-Din and Jerusalem (1968). He died on July 3, 1922.
