A British author, born May 23, 1935 in Burnham. She lived in Buckinghamshire. She attended Slough High School and then obtained a degree in English at Somerville College, University of Oxford. She wrote: The Dollmaker, Foxfire, Jewel and The Seeker: The Dark Is Rising.
