David Kennedy was born in 1964 in London. In his childhood, he lived in Hornsey, North London, after which he relocated to South Devon at the age of 5 with his mother and stepfather. He attended King Edward VI Comprehensive School in Totnes. David and his family, aged 16, moved to Bristol and then Gloucester before returning to London in 1990 to study acting at the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art. Since graduating in 1992, David has worked extensively in theater, television and film, including: Copying Beethoven (2006).
