He is an American actor and casting director who was born in New York on September 5, 1962. His first acting appearance was in the TV series Ivan the Terrible in 1976. His first film as a casting director was The Dragon Gate (1994), after which many films followed, including Rush Hour 2 (2001), The Notebook (2004), and Alpha Dog (2006).
