An Israeli writer, director, and producer. He was born in New York, USA on August 21, 1964. He had immigrated with his family to Israel when he was two years old. His most famous works are Yossi & Jagger (2002), Walk on Water (2004), The Bubble (2006), and Sublet (2020). His films have won 28 international awards, at the Berlin Film Festival, the Tribeca Film Festival, and the National Board of Review in the United States.
