Mac McDonald, born in Long Island, New York, USA, is an American actor who is best known as Captain Hollister on the BBC television series Red Dwarf. He also played several film roles in films that were shot in England, most notably Aliens, Batman, and The Fifth Element. After dropping out of school, Mac continued his career on stage with a strong personal preference for comedy and music. McDonald is also known for his roles in Formula 51 (2001), and Flyboys (2006). He won the Wreak Havoc Horror Film Festival Award in 2020.
