A producer, writer, and director, born in 1952 in Haifa, Israel. Danny began his career in film distribution and then switched to production in 1986 after joining Nu World Productions. He moved to Los Angeles in 1998. Danny Lerner produced more than 70 films that were shot in countries such as South Africa, Mexico, and Bulgaria. He founded Tosca Pictures with Les Weldon. Among the most notable films he produced are Replicant (2001), Olympus Has Fallen (2013), and Automata (2014). He also directed and wrote the stories of several films, such as Shark in Venice (2008).
