A British actor, author and producer, born on March 30, 1950 in Scotland. She studied at Glasgow School of Art, Coltrane began his acting career in his early twenties on stage. He is best known as Hagrid in the Harry Potter series. He starred as Fitz in the series Cracker in 1993.
