A British screenwriter, author and actor, born April 10, 1963 in London. He was born to a Catholic mother who fled the Soviets and a German Jewish father who fled the Nazis and arrived in London in 1933. They died when Peter was nine. He graduated from the College of Fine Arts, University of Leeds. His works include: The Queen, The Last King of Scotland, Frost/Nixon and The Crown.
