A Mexican writer, director, and actor, born in Mexico City. He appeared in more than sixty films during his career, the most important of which is The Beginning and the End (1993), Life Sentence (1979), Herencia maldita (1987), Mujer de cabaret (1991), and Fray Bartolomé de las Casas (1993). He died on August 24, 2015 in Mexico City.
